Madcity Skydivers is a registered student organization at the University of Wisconsin dedicated to introducing students to the exciting sport of skydiving. The club's primary activities consist of three events per year (one event per semester - spring, summer and fall). These events, called Leapfests, are an excellent way to experience your first skydive. For Leapfests, the club brings between 50 and 150 students to Skydive Chicago to do a tandem skydive. After completing their jump (generally their first skydive) the student is treated to an all-you-can eat cookout and a social afterwards on Skydive Chicago's huge premises. On Sunday, students can make another skydive, hang out at the drop zone or head home. The trip is inexpensive and includes the following:
